The Projects
The Process
Each design situation brings with it its own context, stakeholders, constraints and team dynamics. In this kind of ecosystem, even a familiar problem or opportunity space can require a very different approach when encountered again. There are a few key phases of activity that contribute to a successful design solution, not necessarily strictly ordered or distinct, often revisited in reflection or action, and supported by a range of techniques that can be tweaked and combined as needed. However the project unfolds, it should ultimately be guided by what would best serve the people you're designing for.

The Person
If I had my way, I'd have the Eameses' thoughtful, vibrant approach to design, Richard Ayoade's uproarious wit, Douglas Adams' keen imagination, the divine transport of Somerset Falls and adventures with madmen in blue boxes.
In the meantime, I'm a graduate of the Human-Computer Interaction Design M.S. program at Indiana University Bloomington, available for full-time and freelance opportunities in user experience design.
If you haven't yet, feel free to look at some of my projects, and my resume. And if you have a project you'd like to discuss, by all means get in touch.
